Sigma Computing & Dutch Pet
Sigma x Dutch Pet: Video Editing for AI Data Analytics
Background
Sigma Computing needed a compelling customer success story for their new "Ask Sigma" feature — a natural language AI interface. Their client, Dutch Pet, was facing a dual challenge: a national veterinarian shortage and the rising cost of pet care. Dutch Pet needed to maximise vet efficiency by reducing administrative burden, so their team could focus on animal health rather than digging through complex data. The goal of the project was to translate a technical data solution into an emotional, mission-driven narrative.
How I helped
My approach to the video editing focused on balancing technical product demonstration with human-centric storytelling.
- Pacing and narrative: I structured the edit to establish the stakes — the vet shortage — before introducing the AI solution as the turning point.
- Visual clarity: I used clean overlays and crisp transitions to showcase the "Ask Sigma" interface, so the audience could see exactly how it breaks a complex query down into transparent data steps.
- Dynamic sound design: Layering upbeat, tech-forward music under clear interview bites kept an engaging rhythm and carried Dutch Pet's "data meets purpose" philosophy.
The results
The final video positions Sigma as an essential partner in the pet care industry. By showing how the AI acts as a personal data analyst, the piece demonstrates a clear return: Dutch Pet can now uncover gaps in telemedicine that were previously invisible. The client was thrilled with a cut that explained a complex AI tool and still resonated with their dog-friendly corporate culture, helping them communicate how data gets pets the treatment they need.
